Role Description:
A Senior Manager, ability to influence senior staff and department heads in managing change and results. This person must have strategic level management and business development expertise to augment the PMO management.
Experience:
15+ years of experience in managing and driving Strategic Programs to support transformation.
Accreditation: PMI and/or APM.
Scope of Services
1. Initiative Support Expertise
-
Provide subject matter expertise (management consultancy) within the Corporate PMO team to the Strategic, Tactical/ Operational and Complex projects.
-
Provide Initiative, Program and Project managers with guidance, advice and assistance as needed.
-
Provide specific skills and consultancy assistance in the following areas (as a minimum):

Key Account Customer Management,
-
Water and waste water infrastructure projects,
-
Operations & Maintenance,
-
Organization and Individual Performance Management including organizational development,
-
Risk management,
-
Business development & Revenue Enhancement;
-
Procurement & Supply Chain Management;
-
Credit & Cash Collection Management;
-
Financial Management;
-
Performance Management (business as well as individual); and
-
Business Analytics
-

Provide advice and assistance in these subjects across the range of projects under the EPMO Governance

Ensure the projects operate to international best practice standards wherever possible

Cooperate with the business units and departments to ensure consistency in project approach, delivery and reporting

Provide professional advice and insights to other EPMO team members
-
Provide expertise in the re-writing of numerous core business processes as organization transforms
Performance Management
i. Strategic Initiatives Performance Management
-
Work with the business to define the SMART KPIs for the organization as well as determining data intake processes and metrics systems.

Define Corporate, Departmental, and BU level scorecards for organization.

Integrate and refine data from a variety of applications, systems, and documents into a centralized report.
-
Analyse refined data to gain insight into current performance (monitoring KPIs), potential causes for specific KPI variances (or deviations of actual values from target values).

Report past, current, or forecast conditions to stakeholders.
-
Work with stakeholders to agree on mitigation plans in case of targets not being met.
-
Assist in the automation effort of KPI reporting and provide guidance in this regard
ii. Core Business Performance Management
-
Use tools such as Balanced Scorecard to review and analyse current set of KPIs and scorecards and recommend improvements.

Define a balanced approach for performance management.
-
Define targets for BoD KPIs aligned with budgets, management ambition and benchmarking.

Cascade these KPIs to CBUs, conduct series of workshops for target communication and buy in.

Assist CBUs and Departments in breaking objectives into operational indicators
-
Report past, current, or forecast conditions to stakeholders.

Work with stakeholders (cross functional including enablers) to agree on mitigation plans in case of targets not being met.

Assist in the automation effort of KPI reporting and provide guidance in this regard.

Present findings (including 360-degree view – segmental analysis) of KPIs and Performance Measures to the Organization Management on Daily/Weekly/Monthly basis.

Assist in development of Individual Performance Management Scorecards (IPMS) for Initiative Sponsors / Owners linked with the strategic initiatives they are managing & participating.

Cascade IPMS to second and third layer of the organization.

Work with the Corporate HR to implement Individual Performance Management System and measure the outcomes of IPMS on a periodical basis.

Purpose:
Work as a Senior Consultant for our Projects. This position provides: (1) research (e.g., identify key dynamics within a market), (2) development (e.g., create strategic plan & Operating model to manage risk; create operating model to optimize outcomes), and (3) coordination (e.g., synthesize the varied perspectives/requirements from diverse clients-physician, nursing, regulatory, front-desk, finance, etc.-into a cohesive operating model) to support a portfolio of projects. This position requires extensive client and external constituent interactions, as well as business plan and presentation writing.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative.
- Develop and mentor staff.
- Manage projects and clients.
- Produce project teams' deliverables-road maps/strategy presentations, business plans, market profiles/assessments, presentations, etc.
- Work in a project.
Qualifications
- Masters level degree in Business Administration with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (e.g., strategy, planning, business development, quantitative decision support, finance) required; or a Bachelor degree with 7 years of experience.
- Prior experience should include project management (developing work plans, tracking progress, coordinating teams composed of individuals from multiple departments, completing deliverables, etc.); advanced analytics; business development (e.g., writing/authoring business plans for new operations); and negotiations with external audiences.
- Experience in a consulting, corporate or competitive strategy, some operational experience is preferred.
